Letter to Rhoda Barnes from Milton Barnes near Mufreesboro, Tennessee. It was written over a four day period and includes news of Milton's health, his pay, the Chaplain of the regiment, the mail system, soldiers and morality, thoughts on democracy and politics, cotton, and replies to Rhoda's last letters.
