dc.description.abstract	Slide by Vince Ahren entitled “Choosing a pumpkin from one of Reston's pumpkin patches" dated 1988. This is an image of a pumpkin sale in Reston, Virginia. People can be seen at the sale picking out pumpkins from the pumpkins stacked in the background. There are children through out the image. All the people in the image are dressed in long sleeves and pants. There are two wagons at the sale with pumpkins in them. Straw can be seen through out the image. Some of it is in bales, and some of it has been scattered across the area that the pumpkins are located.
