This photograph taken at groundbreaking ceremony shows Robert Reid (second from left, who assumed directorship of GMC in November of 1964) Director, J.N.G. Finley, a construction foreman, and college building superintendent, Richard Best, studying construction plans for the college to be built upon the first forty cleared acres of the former Farr property.
