Abstract:
Paper by Rodney E. Engelen entitled "Making New Towns - In Town Work" that originally appeared in Chicagoland Development on July 1975. This paper discusses factors and conditions to be evaluated before undertaking a new-towns-in-town development. Also discussed are comparisons of different types of new towns, case studies, key conditions for success, and solutions to some problems with development.
