Abstract:
This thesis is a novel excerpt experimenting with voice and form. Told from the perspectives of multiple characters, it describes the duality of public personas and pressures children of politicians face under the lens of scrutiny and notoriety. The characters struggle to maintain a sense of identity and purpose as they are used as political pawns, both by their families and profiteers.
