All history majors at George Mason University are required to complete HIST 499: Senior Seminar in History, which requires research on specialized historical topic culminating in seminar paper and oral presentation. Using primary sources, these students extend our knowledge of the past, becoming producers as well as consumers of historical knowledge.

This collection in MARS (Mason Archival Repository Service; mars.gmu.edu) is a means by which students can share their seminar papers with a broader readership.
